This is what started the process of the 26th amendment, the vietnam war. The argument for the amendment was "If the kids were old enough to be drafted, kill, and die for politicians. They should also have the right to get rid of said officials." My parents were one of the ones that were involved in the push to get the vote and that brings our total voting amendments up to 4.
