This amendment is really important so I'm going to comment on much the same thing twice. This amendment recognized that people are more than the uneducated masses that the original drafers took us for. When people talk to me about "traditional" constitution i remind them that there have been more than a few alterations to everyday life. So being "traditional" doesn't work.
