Give the people the right to vote for their representatives. What a GREAT idea. When the constitution was first draft it was very difficult for people to know more about the world then what was around their immidiate area. That's why initially the state government would vote for a representative in the national government rather than the peopole. this amendment tipped it's hat at modern advancements that allowed people to know more about the world.
