Funny little clip explaining just how bad a lame duck president could be. As i explained earlier this amendment was to stop this type of behavior. Becausse of the modern advancements in transportation it did not take presidents as long to come and go. However until this amendment the president that was voted out had all the time to appoint, pardon, and basically screw with the next president anyway he could. This time was drastically reduced by the 20th amendment.
