10th Amendment - Don't Tread on Me

  1. I thought it was fiting to throw a little historical reference in to the mix. DON'T TREAD ON ME was originally aconcept for the flag to fly against Britian. Over the years however it has turned into a represetative of states rights against the federal government. Each part of the original snake represented one of the thirteen colonies. If you step on the "snake" you get bitten, Clever, huh. It represents the states together as individuals which is what the tenth amendment guarentees
